Yoga Day

The YOGA awareness programme was conducted by Mr. Babasaheb vasant Chandrate, a renowned personality in Chalisgaon on 20th June ahead of international yoga day. He made the students aware about the need and importance of yoga in daily life. He demonstrated and taught the students some steps which they can practice easily.

Investiture Ceremony

Investiture ceremony was held on 4th July. Honourable MLA of Chalisgaon, Shree. Umesh Dada Patil Sir was the Chief guest of the day. He guided the students about the good qualities that a good leader should posses and encouraged the students to give their best as the representatives of school. He also felicitated our students who scored good marks in the SSC Exam and brought laurels to our school.

Teacher’s Orientation Programme

Teacher’s orientation programme was organized on 4th July by a multi talented personality Mr. Ojas Bhatt a professional trainer. It was an enriching session for the teachers to improve their teaching and learning process.

Value Based Session

Value based classes for the high school students were arranged. The resource person was Rev. Fr. George Dabreo, the director of Don Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra, Aurangabad. Students actively participated in the role play, games and the group activities which helped them to realize about the values that they have in them and the need of nurturing good values in their life, to be responsible successful persons in future.

Avishkar Quiz Competition

Avishkar Quiz competition was conducted on 13th August according to the norms given by CBSE.It was conducted in two rounds and the selected students from the first round participated in the second round. Students participated in the quiz competitions very eagerly as it was based on the theme water and soil

Manager’s Day Celebration

Manager’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm under the leadership of blue house members. Students performed various skills on the stage to make the day a colourful one.


Students along with their teachers visited the science exihibition that held in the Rashtriya Vidyalaya Junior College in Chalisgaon. It helped the students to enhance their knowledge about various science concepts and increased their thinking capacity and curiocity.

Rakshabandhan Celebration

Students celebrated Rakshbandhan in the school in a clolurful way according to the traditions. The girls tied the RAKHI to the boys by reminding them their responsibility of taking care of them. Boys also given the girls various gifts. All the teachrs too participated in the celebrations.

Teachers Day

Teachers Day was celebrated with much vigour and enthusiasm by the Josephines to show their respect toward their teachers. Rev. Sr. Gladis Thomas, our manager gave the message and all the teachers participated in the programmes and games organized by the students of class X and the yellow house students.

Clean India and Healthy India

The students of class IX arranged a clean India and Healthy India Programme as part of their Hindi project. They took the initiative to clean the places in city and presented posters to make the people aware about the concept. In the school also they presented the skit and posters for the benefit of the other students. They made the small children aware about the need of cleanliness in the simple things that they do in their day to day life for their better health.

Homage to Late. Rev. APJ Abdul Kalam

The birth anniversary of our former president and great leader Late. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was celebrated with various activities. Various thoughts and anecdotes from his life were presented before the assembly by the students.

School Picnics

Students enjoyed the Shimla – Manali picnic. 62 Students and 7 staff members were there in the 7 days picnic which included horse riding, trekking and various games especially the snow. And another group of 80 students and teachers went to Banglore – Mysore picnic for 4 days. Staff Picnic was arranged to Mahabaleswar. Almost all the staff members participated in it and everybody enjoyed the natural beauty of Mahabaleshwar and visited the straberry gardens. It was rejuvaneting and refreshening experience for the staff and stuents.

Art and Craft Demonstration

On 28th October, an art and craft demonstration was arranged for the students by Mr. Naresh Roy from Gujarat. Students were thrilled and ejoyed the session as it helped them to understand various ways in which they can make use of the things especially the waste materials in an effective way.

Digital India

An awareness programme about the digital India was arranged by Mr. Rahul Patil for the high school students. He explained in a detailed way about the necessity of online work and how e-work will help for the development of country by connecting with the other countries very easily.

Principal’s Day Celebration

The Pricipal’s day celebration was organized by the green house members in grant way. Students and teachers were very much eager to make the day a memorable one for the sister. They exihibited their talents very beautifully in a skilled way

Diwali Celebration

An eco friendly diwali celebration was arranged by our students. They presented the skits and demonstrated posters which shows the causes of pollution and the dangers it causes to the environment as well as to the living organisms in the nature.

Jubilee Celebration

The Silver Jubilee of our President Rev. Sr. Lilly Payyappilly, Our Provincial and Rev. Sr. Alice Kolenchery, our administrator was celebrated in the school. The representatives of staff and students felicitated them on their successful completion of 25 years in the consecrated life.

Waves – 2015

A very vibrant and mesmerizing annual day was witnessed by the parents this year. The new techniques, the powerful performance of the students, and the hardwork of the teachers made the day colourful and all the parents and our guests appreciated us well.

Road inauguration

A much awaited dream of all the Josephines – the proper road to our school from the main road – was fulfilled by the help and support of our honourable MLA. Mr. Umesh Dada Patil Sir.

Christmas Day Celebration

Christmas was celebrated by the Josephines and we all wished each other the peace, joy and happiness of the festival to everyone.

Charity Day

Charity Day was organized by the students to help the poor people in need. Students themselves arranged many stalls of food, entertainment, exhibitions etc . Parents appreciated the hardwork of their wards and cooperated well with the management. It instilled in the students various values. Students also contributed well for the empowerment and formal education of the tribal children in Nandurbar

National Youth Day

Students of class VIII arranged the programme on national youth day.They presented the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda and encouraged the students to be dutiful youth of the country. We also honoured Rajmata Jijau whose birth anniversary also celebrated on the same day.

School Na Milegi Dubara

Farewell programme for the X students were arranged by the IX students ‘School Na Milegi Dubara’

They shared their lovimg memories about the school life and Sr. Jessy our priciple shared her thoughts fwith students and all the teachers blessed and wished them all the best for their bright future.
